RESULTS OVER RHETORIC
Dr. Molly Hart has been serving on the Utah State Board of Education for the last 4 years. She joined the Board having worked in education for over 25 years. She is the candidate in this race with the background and experience to deliver results for our community and state.
She has experience at all levels of education, uniquely positioning her to understand the needs of stakeholders. She has worked as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, teacher, assistant principal, and principal in multiple states at all levels from elementary to university. Having recently served as a principal in Canyons School District from 2012-2023, she is now the Executive Director (superintendent) of Summit Academy Schools.
Dr. Hart is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she received a degree in Family Studies. She loves learning and also has degrees in middle grades education/reading, elementary education, and a doctorate in educational leadership.
Dr. Hart’s accolades include recognition for her community service, leadership, and education including Vocational Teacher of the Year, Utah PTA Outstanding School Administrator Award, and Utah Music Educators Outstanding Administrator Award. Her wide range of experiences and awards have made her one of the most effective members of the Utah State Board of Education.
Together with her husband, Robert, Dr. Hart is the proud parent of two children in college. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys quilting, reading, gardening, swimming, golfing, and live music of all genres.
